Job Duties:
- Floor Oversight: Monitor rubber extrusion and molding processes to ensure continuous production efficiency and product compliance.
- Defect Troubleshooting: Investigate part non-conformances, identify root causes, and implement practical corrective actions to prevent recurrence on the line.
- Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate calibration logs and production records to support our ISO 9001 quality management system.
- Shipping Certification: Prioritize daily inspections based on shipping schedules and issue Certifications of Conformance (CoC) for outgoing orders.
- Material Control: Inspect incoming raw materials and purchased components; coordinate with staff on vendor returns for items that fail to meet specifications.
- Safety Partnership: Work closely with the plant safety team to maintain a secure, compliant manufacturing environment.
Qualifications:
- Technical Aptitude: Strong mechanical and mathematical skills; experience reading industrial line drawings and technical specifications is highly valued.
- Industrial Experience: Proven background working in a large-scale, fast-paced manufacturing environment. Rubber compounding, molding, or extrusion experience is a significant plus.
- Computer Skills: Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Willingness to learn basic 2D drafting in AutoCAD LT.
