Duties
- Supervise daily shop operations, ensuring all repairs and maintenance are completed accurately and efficiently
- Diagnose complex vehicle issues using advanced automotive diagnostics tools and schematics
- Lead repair efforts on various systems including powertrain, electrical systems, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), and diesel engines
- Oversee vehicle maintenance tasks such as alignments, wheel balancing, welding, and auto body repairs
- Mentor and train technicians on the latest automotive repair techniques and safety protocols
- Collaborate with service advisors to communicate repair findings clearly to customers and ensure high levels of customer service
- Maintain detailed records of repairs performed, parts used, and diagnostic procedures for quality assurance and warranty purposes
Skills
- Extensive dealership experience with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and repair
- Proficiency in reading schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
- Hands-on experience with ADAS calibration, diesel engine repair, and powertrain systems
- Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems including electrical components, auto body work, and maintenance procedures
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive service tools
- Ability to interpret automotive electrical systems and troubleshoot complex issues effectively
- Excellent leadership skills with a focus on team development and safety compliance
