Job Overview:
To better serve the global auto industry electric vehicle trend in the United States, CATL, through its U.S.-based subsidiary, CATK, is seeking multiple talented and experienced Talent Acquisition Specialists to join our team. The Talent Acquisition Specialist is a vital role within our organization, focusing on sourcing, attracting, and hiring top engineering talent to support our growth and innovation in the new energy and automotive battery sectors. This position involves managing the full recruitment lifecycle, from identifying and engaging potential candidates to coordinating interviews and negotiating offers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical recruitment, specifically within engineering, and a deep understanding of the unique requirements of the new energy and automotive battery industries.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Manage the entire recruitment process, including job posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and extending offers.
- Develop and execute effective recruitment strategies to attract top engineering talent.
- Utilize diverse sourcing methods, such as job boards, social media, networking events, and industry-specific platforms, to find potential candidates.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future roles.
- Conduct comprehensive screenings to assess candidate qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
- Coordinate and conduct interviews, providing timely feedback to candidates and hiring managers.
- Apply industry knowledge to understand the specific requirements of engineering roles in the new energy and automotive battery sectors.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and create customized recruitment plans.
- Provide regular updates on recruitment progress and challenges to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Promote the company's employer brand by showcasing its values, culture, and career opportunities.
- Participate in industry events, job fairs, and networking opportunities to enhance the company's visibility and reputation.
- Maintain accurate records of recruitment activities and provide regular reports on key metrics and performance.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical recruitment, with a focus on engineering roles.
- Proven experience in recruiting for the new energy or automotive battery sectors is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and terminology.
- Excellent sourcing, interviewing, and candidate assessment skills.
- Proficiency in using recruitment software and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Regular, predictable on-site attendance is an essential function of this role.
- Ability to move throughout offices, manufacturing facilities, and construction areas, including walking, standing, bending, kneeling, and climbing stairs or ladders.
- Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 25–50 pounds, with occasional heavier lifting as required, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to work in varied environments, including offices, industrial, and construction settings.
- Willingness to travel to other job sites as business needs require.
