Overview
The Project Engineer is involved in all phases of the construction projects and provides support to the projects by assisting with project management and construction supervision efforts. The Project Engineer will communicate with clients, project managers and subcontractors to make sure the construction projects proceed safely, accurately and smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Review design and bidding documents, evaluate contractor bids, and oversee construction progress and scheduling
- Execute quality control and closeout documentation process
- Assist the project team with coordination of subcontractors and suppliers, procurement, management of project documentation including submittals, RFI's and drawings
- Regularly attend on site progress meetings, and occasionally assist with onsite construction supervision
Requirements
- BS degree in Engineering or Construction Management
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Construction experience on commercial projects
- Strong technical and communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
