Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic manufacturing team. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine fabrication requirements
- Use MIG (Metal Inert Gas), FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and various other welding techniques to join metals accurately
- Operate power tools, hand tools, plasma cutters, and machining equipment to shape and assemble structural components
- Measure materials precisely to ensure proper fit and alignment
- Fabricate custom metal assemblies following ASME codes & standards
- Perform rigging, pipe threading, plasma cutting, and other metal forming tasks as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and inspecting equipment regularly
Skills
- Extensive construction experience with knowledge of safety procedures
- Proficiency in MIG welding, FCAW welding, and plasma cutting techniques
- Strong ability to read blueprints, schematics, mechanical drawings, and schematics for fabrication projects
- Skilled in using hand tools such as hand tools, power tools, and other fabrication equipment
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and material estimations
- Familiarity with forklift operation for material handling within manufacturing or construction environments
- Knowledge of ASME codes & standards applicable to welding and fabrication projects
