Trades Exchange (TEX) is hiring Entry-Level Carpenter Helpers who are ready to work, learn a skilled trade, and build a career in construction.
You do NOT need to be a journeyman carpenter. We’re looking for dependable people who aren’t afraid of physical work, can show up on time, and want the opportunity to learn from experienced craftsmen on real construction projects.
If you’ve worked construction, landscaping, roofing, restoration, demolition, concrete, warehouses, moving, manufacturing, or any other hands-on job, we want to talk to you.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Assist experienced carpenters and construction crews
- Carry, stage, and organize lumber and building materials
- Measure and cut materials under direction
- Assist with framing and general carpentry
- Use basic hand and power tools
- Help with drywall, trim, blocking, and other construction tasks
- Perform jobsite cleanup and material handling
- Learn proper tool use and construction techniques
- Follow jobsite and OSHA safety requirements
- Take direction and KEEP MOVING
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We’re looking for people who:
- Want to learn the carpentry/construction trade
- Show up ON TIME and READY TO WORK
- Are dependable Monday–Friday
- Can perform physical construction work
- Can lift and carry construction materials
- Are comfortable working indoors and outdoors
- Can follow instructions and work as part of a crew
- Have reliable transportation
- Take safety seriously
Construction experience is helpful, but entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
