Charred Swift Creek is seeking an experienced server or bartender who is ready to take the next step into restaurant leadership. This is an entry-level management opportunity designed for someone who understands great service, works well under pressure, and wants to build a long-term career in hospitality.
The right candidate does not need previous management experience. We are looking for someone with strong restaurant experience, natural leadership ability, excellent judgment, and a genuine desire to learn. What You Will Learn and Be Responsible For
- Leading daily front-of-house shifts and supporting servers, bartenders, hosts, food runners, and support staff
- Maintaining a visible management presence throughout the restaurant
- Providing table touches and resolving guest concerns professionally
- Managing the flow and pacing of service
- Conducting pre-shift meetings and communicating daily priorities
- Coaching employees and reinforcing service standards
- Assisting with training and developing new team members
- Monitoring reservations, large parties, sections, and staffing levels
- Completing opening and closing management responsibilities
- Supporting scheduling, shift coverage, and labor management
- Ensuring the restaurant remains clean, organized, and guest-ready
- Learning cash handling, deposits, sales reporting, and daily administrative duties
- Working closely with the kitchen and bar to maintain communication and accurate ticket pacing
- Ordering liquor, beer, and wine while maintaining proper product levels
- Completing and maintaining accurate liquor, beer, and wine inventory
- Monitoring beverage costs, product usage, shortages, and ordering needs
- Helping create a positive workplace built around teamwork, urgency, and hospitality
Who We Are Looking For
- At least two years of serving, bartending, or comparable full-service restaurant experience preferred
- A strong understanding of hospitality and restaurant operations
- A dependable and professional work ethic
- The ability to lead by example rather than simply giving directions
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Confidence addressing both guest and employee concerns
- The ability to remain calm and make sound decisions during busy services
- Open availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- A desire to learn, accept feedback, and grow into greater leadership responsibilities
Previous restaurant management experience is welcome but not required.
