Required
- Minimum 18 years of age
- High school diploma or GED
- Office administrative experience: including word processing, data entry, file preparation /management, basic bookkeeping, and safekeeping of confidential information
- Must have strong computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.,
- Must be comfortable working in an office & court room environment
- Ability to be flexible and adapt to last minute assignment changes & constant interruptions
- Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with employees & judges
- Must have experience working in a fast-paced office environment
- Able to multitask and/or adapt to a variety of work assignments
- Appropriate public service in person and by telephone
- Valid Driver’s License with proof of automobile insurance
- Background Check: Must have an acceptable background record
- Driving Abstract: Must have an acceptable driving record
Preferred
- Experience with JIS or DOS based systems
- Two years office experience in a field closely related to the judicial or legal practice
- Experience with preparation of documents, reports, or formal correspondence
Working Conditions
Work is primarily performed inside but can be performed in varying temperatures. Employee may be exposed to office supply odors or vapors.
Employee may also be exposed to sub-sanitary environments.
