We have an opportunity at our corporate offices in Washington D.C. for a Lobbyist, Director 1, Life Science (Hybrid) on our Advocacy team. This is a hybrid position reporting into our Washington, DC office, requiring 3 days a week in the office.
This position will maintain effective liaison with designated federal agencies, health care organizations, and coalitions involved with health-related programs. This position will focus on life sciences and market regulation, advancing policies related to FDA and FTC oversight, drug and device regulation, program integrity, and expanding access to care in underserved and priority populations. Advocate for AMA policies and positions to the appropriate government officials and represent AMA at related health care associations and coalitions. Ensure relevant information on government programs and coalition activities is brought to the attention of appropriate AMA officials.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
This role is an exempt position, and the salary range for this position is $180,249.25 - $239,416.60. This is the lowest to highest salary we believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee’s pay within the salary range will be determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to business consideration and geographical location, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
