The ACE Consulting Group is hiring experienced Industrial Maintenance Mechanics for a large, established food manufacturing operation in Rochelle, IL.
We're looking for experienced, hands-on mechanics with strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills who are comfortable supporting production equipment in a fast-paced industrial environment.
What You'll Do as the Maintenance Mechanic
- Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and overhaul production and facility equipment
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical equipment issues
- Work with gears, bearings, pneumatics, and hydraulic systems
- Troubleshoot motors, switches, panels, junction boxes, circuit breakers, transformers, and power circuits
- Work with 480V three-phase electrical systems
- Perform maintenance wiring and electrical repairs
- Troubleshoot electronic sensors and control circuits
- Install, connect, adjust, and calibrate electrical gauges and instruments
- Troubleshoot equipment utilizing PC controllers and mechanical equipment sequencers
- Read and interpret blueprints, circuit diagrams, and ladder logic diagrams
- Complete preventive maintenance and emergency/running repairs
- Support production equipment across the facility, with a primary focus on the plant's production and labeling lines
- Follow proper Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures
What We're Looking For in Maintenance Mechanic:
- 5–7+ years of industrial/multi-craft maintenance mechanic experience
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting abilities
- Electrical troubleshooting experience
- Knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics
- Experience with 480V three-phase electrical
- Knowledge of circuitry, electronic sensors, and control circuits
- Ability to read blueprints, electrical diagrams, and ladder logic
Current Shifts Available:
- 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM–12:00 Midnight
- 3rd Shift: 8:00 PM–6:00 AM
Compensation & Benefits:
- $32.00–$35.00/hour, based on experience.
