In this hands-on role, you'll help craft exceptional fudge and chocolate products while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. Key Responsibilities
- Operate fudge kettles, chocolate tempering equipment, depositing systems, and material-handling tools in accordance with GMPs and established SOPs.
- Crosstrain in chocolate production, including truffles, artisan bars, novelty items, and specialty confections.
- Accurately measure, mix, and process ingredients to ensure consistent, high-quality production.
- Maintain a clean, sanitary work environment while meeting quality assurance and food safety standards.
- Move raw materials and finished goods safely and efficiently throughout the facility.
- Monitor product quality, identify production issues, and report deviations promptly.
- Follow all safety procedures and manufacturing guidelines.
- Work independently and collaboratively to meet production goals and quality expectations.
- Remain on your feet for extended periods during scheduled shifts.
Qualifications & Skills
- Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement practices.
- Knowledge of GMP/CGMP standards and food manufacturing compliance requirements.
- Experience operating material-handling equipment safely and effectively.
- Familiarity with food production SOPs preferred.
- Basic math skills for measurements, batch calculations, and quality assurance checks.
- Ability to manage inventory for assigned production areas and maintain accurate records.
- Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to meeting performance goals.
- Dedication to workplace safety and compliance, including required PPE and communication standards.
