We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Research Technician to join our dynamic research team. Responsibilities
- Conduct laboratory experiments involving microbiology, histology, molecular biology, and other specialized techniques to support ongoing research projects.
- Maintain and operate laboratory information management systems (LIMS) for accurate data collection, tracking samples, and documenting experimental results.
- Follow strict laboratory safety protocols, including chemical handling safety procedures and sterile laboratory techniques, to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist in quality control processes to verify the accuracy and reliability of experimental data in accordance with GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) standards and CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice) regulations.
- Prepare and process biological samples, including tissue sections, cell cultures, and microbiological specimens, adhering to laboratory standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Support compliance with FDA regulations and other regulatory guidelines relevant to clinical and research laboratories.
- Collaborate with team members on research & development initiatives, providing technical support and contributing to scientific discussions.
Skills
- Strong understanding of laboratory techniques across microbiology, histology, molecular biology, and chemical handling safety procedures.
- Proven experience working within GLP, CGMP, or other regulated environments in an industrial or clinical laboratory setting.
- Excellent analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex data accurately and efficiently.
- Familiarity with laboratory information management systems (LIMS) and scientific research software tools.
- Knowledge of veterinary terminology and clinical laboratory practices is a plus.
- Ability to follow detailed laboratory procedures while maintaining high standards of accuracy and precision.
- Effective communication skills for documenting findings clearly and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
