The Engineer I is responsible for helping maintain the hotel in a safe, clean, and fully operational condition. This position performs routine maintenance, responds to guest and team member requests, completes preventive maintenance tasks, and assists in ensuring all hotel equipment and facilities operate efficiently while providing an exceptional guest experience.

Perform routine maintenance and repairs throughout the hotel, including guest rooms and public areas.

Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and team members.

Complete preventive maintenance assignments as scheduled.

Assist with basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, carpentry, and general repairs.

Inspect hotel equipment and facilities to identify maintenance needs.

Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized manner.

Follow all safety procedures and Hilton standards.

Report maintenance issues that require specialized repairs to the Engineering Manager.

Support emergency response procedures when needed.

Work collaboratively with all hotel departments to ensure guest satisfaction. TEAMWORK, TEAMWORK, TEAMWORK

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Previous maintenance, engineering, or hotel experience is preferred but not required.

Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general building maintenance.

Ability to safely use hand and power tools.

Strong problemsolving and troubleshooting skills.

Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, bend, climb ladders, and work in various indoor and outdoor conditions.

Must be dependable, organized, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and evenings, as business demands require.
