Position Overview:
In this position as Warehouse Associate, you are responsible for varied daily tasks such as restocking shelves, accepting incoming orders, processing and packing orders, counting inventory and ensuring orders are shipped in a timely manner. We are looking for Warehouse Associates who are enthusiastic, and ambitious team players. Warehouse Worker Duties and Responsibilities
- Receiving and documenting merchandise for stock.
- Loading and offloading of trucks.
- Identify any missing, lost, or damaged materials and immediately notify the supervisor.
- Ensuring that all the merchandise is safely and securely packed and labeled for shipping.
- Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers.
- Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment such as a forklift.
- Must be able to climb stairs and ladders properly and safely.
- Scanning labels to ensure products are shipped to the right destination.
- Ability to communicate clearly, in English written and verbal.
- Basic computer skills will train in the proper use of software and RF scan guns.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Manually handles, repacks, or restacks pallets of finished product as needed.
- Operates forklift truck as needed, training and certifications provided.
- Documents all related activities and completes forms and reports.
- Performs other related duties as directed by the warehouse manager.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid state motor vehicle operator’s license for forklift truck required.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. at times.
- Ability to move around the warehouse and climb/reach and use ladder safely.
Work Environment/Physical Demands:
This position requires the ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time as well as the ability to lift 25 pounds. While mainly standard hours are scheduled for this position, 7AM-5PM, Mon-Fri. Flexibility at times is required to ensure all orders and job duties are completed by the end of the shift. Saturday rotation of staff is also required.
