Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to support operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, and optimizing production equipment to minimize downtime and ensure maximum operational efficiency.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, along with the ability to work independently in a production-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on production machinery and equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Diagnose operational issues, identify root causes, and implement repairs
- Install, modify, and upgrade manufacturing equipment as needed
- Conduct routine inspections and report potential equipment concerns
- Maintain and repair general facility systems including HVAC and plumbing as needed
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Utilize CMMS systems to document maintenance activities and repairs
- Follow all safety procedures including LOTO, Hot Work, and Electrical Safety Standards
- Assist with maintaining spare parts inventory and ordering supplies
- Provide support to additional maintenance team members as needed
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum 3+ years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience
- Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical and electrical systems
- Experience with motors, conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, sensors, and switches
- Experience working with 110V, 208V, and 460V three-phase electrical systems
- PLC troubleshooting experience preferred
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints
- Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and welding highly preferred
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts when needed
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various production environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Industrial Maintenance, Electrical, or HVAC certification preferred
- Experience in food manufacturing or GMP-regulated environments preferred
- Experience using CMMS software
Pay: $38.00 - $40.00 per hour
