Emergency Department Registered Nurse on a 13‑week travel contract in northern California. Provide safe, efficient, and compassionate care to a broad spectrum of medical, surgical, and traumatic patients. Earn up to $3,240 per week based on experience.
Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients presenting to the Emergency Department with a wide range of medical, surgical, and traumatic conditions.
Perform rapid patient assessments, triage, reassessments, and ongoing monitoring based on patient acuity.
Recognize changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate interventions promptly.
Administer medications, IV therapies, treatments, and other interventions according to provider orders and facility protocols.
Assist physicians and other healthcare providers with emergency procedures and patient care.
Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, oxygenation, neurological status, and other relevant clinical indicators.
Respond effectively to medical emergencies and participate in resuscitation efforts when necessary.
Perform wound care, splinting, specimen collection, medication administration, and other emergency nursing procedures.
Maintain accurate and timely electronic health record documentation.
Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, treatments, discharge instructions, and follow‑up care.
Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, technicians, EMS personnel, and other members of the healthcare team.
Follow infection‑control, patient‑safety, medication‑safety, and regulatory standards.
