Detroit Ammunition Company LLC is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Ammunition Technician to join our growing manufacturing team. This position involves assembling, inspecting, packaging, and handling ammunition products while maintaining strict quality and safety standards.
The ideal candidate is reliable, mechanically inclined, able to follow detailed instructions, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Firearms or ammunition experience is preferred but not required for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Inspect ammunition components and finished products for quality and consistency
- Operate ammunition loading, inspection, and packaging equipment
- Package and label finished products accurately
- Maintain organized work areas and follow cleanliness standards
- Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturing guidelines
- Assist with inventory handling and material organization
- Maintain accurate production and quality control records
- Identify and report defective materials or equipment issues
- Work efficiently as part of a small manufacturing team
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Manufacturing, assembly, or warehouse experience preferred
- Familiarity with firearms and ammunition preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
