The Store Manager is the key driver of sales and exceptional customer service in the store. This role is accountable for key performance indicators (KPIs), meeting financial expectations, and building a strong, positive team environment. Subject to change, but the main working hours needed are; Friday 4 pm-9pm // Saturday 10 am - 9 pm // Sunday 11 am- 7pm.
Essential Duties & Functions
Leadership & Sales
- Lead all aspects of retail store operations.
- Create a performance culture to deliver KPIs, meet or exceed store financial projections, and grow revenue opportunities.
- Use labor management tools to schedule effectively and improve efficiency, profitability, and margins while adhering to all applicable federal, state, and local laws governing store operations.
- Delegate responsibilities effectively and provide clear direction to the team.
- Be a role model and motivate employees to attain daily team sales goals.
- Focus on delivering an outstanding customer experience.
Store Operations & Merchandising
- Follow all company policies to deliver operational excellence across human resources, visual merchandising, marketing, loss prevention, operations, and the safety and security of people and assets.
- Maintain store cleanliness and presentation standards throughout the day, including the sales floor, fitting rooms, checkout area, and stockroom.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and cycle counts; investigate and reconcile any discrepancies.
- Receive, unpack, and process incoming shipments; restock, replenish, and organize merchandise on the floor.
- Maintain an organized, accurate stockroom.
- Uphold visual merchandising standards — fold, size, display, and present product (leggings, activewear, accessories) to brand guidelines.
- Open and close the store, including cash handling, register reconciliation, and securing the premises.
- Process sales, returns, and exchanges accurately at the POS.
- Drive a safe and secure environment focused on incident prevention and loss prevention.
Team Development
- Recruit, select, hire, and onboard talent.
- Train and coach employees on the sales and service model.
- Train new employees, then follow up on and assess their progress.
- Identify and develop talent within the team for future growth.
- Maintain a high level of business ethics and integrity.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- High school diploma or GED; Associate degree preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of retail sales experience (management experience a plus).
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Office, internet, POS systems, and general digital literacy.
- Flexible schedule (may include nights, weekends, holidays, and long hours); regular, reliable attendance is essential.
- Comfortable being on your feet, lifting and moving stock, and handling the physical demands of a retail floor.
- Desire to succeed in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.
