Required competencies:
Must have job experience in machine design with understanding of mechanical assemblies, machining and tolerances
High Proficiency with AutoCad Inventor
Design experience with servo motors, linear actuators and scara robots
Design experience with motion and position sensors
Applicable experience in creating designs and bills of materials
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Accuracy
Self-starter, work without close supervision
Punctuality
Willingness to work the hours to complete assigned tasks
A plus, but not required:
Experience with FEA
Experience with metallurgy
Experience with Sage 100 ERP
Reports to: (acting) engineering manager
