We are currently seeking an experienced, high-caliber Full-Time Unarmed Security Officer to represent our firm at two of Red Bank’s most prestigious luxury boutique properties: the Molly Pitcher Inn and The Oyster Point Hotel.
Key Responsibilities
- Perimeter Security: Conduct thorough, regular interior and exterior foot patrols of the hotel perimeters, parking structures, and docks to ensure a secure environment.
- Access & Presence: Maintain a highly visible, sharp, and professional presence in the lobby, lounge, and bar areas during peak hours and special events to deter incidents.
- Hospitality Mindset: Act as a seamless extension of the hotel's premium service, assisting guests with basic requests, directions, and inquiries with a polite and welcoming demeanor.
- Incident Management: Monitor the properties for suspicious activity, handle guest disruptions or security anomalies with expert conflict de-escalation tactics, and document all actions.
- Reporting: Maintain detailed daily shift logs and complete comprehensive incident reports via 5S Security reporting protocols.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: Proven experience in both security operations and customer service is strictly required. Experience in luxury hospitality or upscale residential environments is highly preferred.
- Licensing: Must possess a valid New Jersey SORA (Security Officer Registration Act) license.
- Availability: Direct alignment with the required schedule: Wednesday through Sunday, 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM.
- Professionalism: Impeccable grooming standards, excellent communication skills, and a strong work ethic.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to remain on your feet and walk for extended periods, including outdoor patrols in various weather conditions.
