Job Summary
Performs a variety of radiographic procedures using fixed and mobile radiographic equipment; applies knowledge and skills in general, fluoroscopic, surgical, trauma and mobile environments; demonstrates competency in all patient age groups.
- Performing CT scans on GE 64 slice scanners
- Patient care through AIDET system
- Radiation safety guidelines set through ALARA, Image Gently, Image Safely
Qualifications
- Associates degree or completion from a two year college or radiography program. Required
- 6 months -1 year related experience and/or training. Preferred
- BLS Basic Life Support
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiology Technologists) or eligible to obtain ARRT within 6 months from graduation or completion from a two-year college or radiography program. Required
- X-Ray/CT Registered
- 1 year of experience in CT Preferred
- Night shift availability
- GE scanner experience preferred but not required
