What This Job Looks Like Day to Day
You'll run residential service calls and installations independently across the East Valley. Your truck, your route, your results. Expect roughly 50 hours per week with high earning potential tied directly to your performance.
Typical weekly earnings: $1,000–$2,000+ based on performance
Starting compensation during ramp-up: $800–$1,800 per week
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair springs, cables, rollers, tracks, and openers
- Perform full door and opener installations
- Conduct safety inspections and walk homeowners through findings
- Present repair and replacement options clearly and honestly
- Maintain a clean, professional appearance on every job site
- Drive 100–300 miles per week across residential service areas
What We're Looking For
- Prior garage door service or installation experience is required — this is not entry-level
- Strong grasp of torsion and extension spring systems
- Ability to diagnose problems and recommend the right solution
- Consultative communication skills — you can explain options without pressure
- Physically capable of lifting 75 lbs and working in demanding conditions
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Available for flexible scheduling including some evenings and weekends
- Must pass background check and drug screening
