Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting cocktails, serving beverages, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Your role will be pivotal in enhancing the overall experience at our establishment.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware and equipment.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and delivering drinks promptly.
- Monitor customer consumption of alcohol to ensure responsible service and compliance with legal requirements.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, utilizing Aloha POS system for order processing.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service when applicable, especially during catering events.
- Uphold food safety standards and maintain a safe environment for both staff and guests.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking supplies and reporting shortages as necessary.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in bartending or related roles within a nightclub or restaurant setting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of mixology, drink recipes, and beverage presentation techniques.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with diverse clientele.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing.
- Familiarity with food safety practices is highly desirable.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as required by the business needs.
- Previous experience with catering services is a plus but not mandatory.
