Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated SLS Evening Supervisor to join our team in the Gardena, Culver City, Inglewood, Los Angeles, and Westwood areas. This part-time to full-time leadership role is vital in overseeing social service programs during evening hours, ensuring high-quality support for individuals with developmental disabilities and other underserved communities. Duties
- social service Supervise and support direct staff working during evening hours, ensuring adherence to program goals and compliance standards
- Develop and implement program activities tailored to the needs of individuals with disabilities and those from underserved communities
- Manage relationship building with clients, families, and regional center, and stakeholders to promote engagement and trust
- Oversee administrative functions including documentation, reporting, and maintaining accurate records using Microsoft Office tools
- Monitor program budgets and assist with resource allocation to maximize service delivery efficiency
- Ensure staff compliance with organizational policies, licensing requirements, and behavioral health regulations
- Provide leadership in team management by supervising staff performance, conducting evaluations, and fostering professional development
- Eligible for pay raise following 90-day probation period
Experience
- Proven supervisory experience in social services or related fields, particularly with behavioral health or developmental disabilities
- Demonstrated ability to manage programs involving individuals from diverse backgrounds and underserved communities
- Strong relationship management skills with clients, families, community partners, and team members
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or behavioral health needs is highly preferred
- Administrative experience including report writing, documentation, budgeting, and program development
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for daily operations and communication
- Bilingual skills are a plus to effectively serve diverse populations
- Leadership experience in social services administration or program management is highly desirable
