This position applies business analysis leadership across the full project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, analysis, solution design support, testing, implementation, and handoff. The Lead Business Analyst partners closely with business users, senior stakeholders, development teams, QA teams, support teams, and project teams to drive solution clarity, manage requirement changes, mitigate delivery risks, and help ensure successful outcomes. This opportunity is well suited for an experienced business analyst who can lead discussions, mentor team members, and deliver high-quality solutions in a fast-paced client environment.
Qualifications: Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, information systems, mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of experience in business analysis, including writing business requirements and functional specifications.
- Experience working on medium to large-scale technology or business transformation projects.
- Strong understanding of requirements management, testing support, stakeholder communication, and solution delivery.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the life insurance and annuity domain, including new business and underwriting processes.
- Hands-on experience with LifePRO or similar policy administration platforms.
- Experience facilitating client workshops, process mapping sessions, and cross-functional solution discussions.
- Working knowledge of SQL, data analysis, and technical documentation.
- Experience with Agile delivery methodologies and supporting distributed or offshore teams.
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to influence senior leaders.
- Experience mentoring junior team members and driving process improvement initiatives.
- Working knowledge of actuarial concepts and insurance product structures is a plus.
The posted range is the hiring range for this role — a subset of the broader range available to employees over time — and reflects base salary across our national hiring scale. Final offers are based on several factors, including the candidate's skills and experience, internal pay equity, work location, market conditions for the role, and the specific scope and responsibilities of the position. The top of the range is reserved for candidates who notably exceed the requirements; the lower end applies to those with less experience or fewer preferred qualifications. For positions based in higher-cost zones (e.g., California, New York, New Jersey), actual compensation may exceed the posted range; your recruiter will share specifics during the process.
