The Information Technology Office is accepting applications for a Senior Business Systems Analyst to join their Remote Video Services unit.
The Senior Business Systems Analyst (SBSA) for Remote Video at the Judicial Council of California (JCC) will provide development and maintenance of technology standards, policies, and procedures for Hybrid Court initiatives. This includes the development of administrative and operational requirements to support remote proceedings, creating functional and technical requirements for hosted application solutions to support remote technology and managing the services of our vendor partnerships.
Additionally, developing remote technology guidelines to ensure the appropriate laws around remote proceedings and Judicial Council policies are met on all projects, business requirements, and tracking documentation. Auditing and analyzing data and project feasibility, communications, and providing technical project management expertise to internal teams and stakeholders. Serve as a technical project management consultant to the courts.
Responsibilities also include managing and facilitating the support of Audio Visual (AV) design, implementation assistance, and oversight of the development of solutions for telecommunications and remote video services for the Trial Courts, Judicial Council, Supreme Court, and District Courts of Appeal. The candidate is also responsible for assessing and/or reviewing proposed solutions' risks and the impact of configuration and business process changes on other modules in an integrated system.
Under the supervisor's supervision, the candidate will provide technical expertise, project management assistance and support, and business analysis, as well as act as a liaison and facilitator to the programs and projects they are assigned.
Duties will include traveling to the various courts’ locations and providing consultation and operational support to California’s Trial Courts.

The Judicial Council offers hybrid work arrangements for many positions. The successful candidate will be expected to work in person at the Judicial Council’s San Francisco or Sacramento office or other California court location at least two days per week, based on their office leader’s direction, and reside in the areas surrounding these locations. To be eligible for Judicial Council employment and participation in the Judicial Council’s Hybrid Work Program, a prospective or current employee’s primary residence/remote work location must be in the State of California and within a 150-mile driving radius of their assigned reporting location.
