Helpin Hands LLC is currently seeking an experienced, dependable, and motivated DSP Team Lead to join our growing team. This position is designed for a strong leader who can effectively supervise staff, maintain compliance, support individuals in the home and community, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations of assigned sites and services.
This is a leadership-level DSP position requiring prior supervisory experience, strong communication skills, flexibility, and the ability to lead by example.
Schedule Requirements
- Weekdays: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- Weekends: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
- 8-hour and 12-hour shifts only
- Must have flexible availability based on operational and client needs
Position Responsibilities
- Provide direct care and support services to individuals with developmental disabilities
- Serve as a lead staff member and assist with daily site operations
- Maintain accurate and compliant site documentation
- Monitor completion of daily documentation and ensure staff accountability
- Assist with staff communication and shift coordination
- Support community integration and transportation activities
- Attend and coordinate medical appointments as needed
- Assist with grocery shopping, meal planning, and household support
- Ensure health, safety, supervision, and ISP implementation
- Communicate concerns, incidents, and operational issues appropriately
- Assist with training, mentoring, and supporting DSP staff
- Ensure all DODD standards, company policies, and compliance expectations are followed
Minimum QualificationsNO EXCEPTIONS:
- Minimum 3 years of DSP experience
- Minimum 1 year of supervisory or leadership experience
- Valid driver’s license
- Valid vehicle insurance
- Reliable personal vehicle
- All required DODD trainings must be current and active
- Ability to pass background checks and meet all hiring requirements

- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
- Experience working independently in residential settings
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and prioritize tasks
- Experience with documentation systems and compliance expectations
