The Dental Assistant should be skilled in providing patient care and be able to work collaboratively with the dentist and other team members.

Job Requirements:
At least one year of experience as a dental assistant preferred.
- Must have good communication skills and be able to read, write and speak the English language.
- Ability to write coherent messages and present information to others through various types of media.
- Knowledgeable in the use dental instruments including handpieces, intra-oral photography, x-ray machines, etc. per regulations.
- Radiology certification would be ideal.
- Willing to train the right people.
Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during procedures by providing chairside support and managing instruments.
- Prepare and maintain treatment areas, ensuring compliance with aseptic techniques.
- Take and develop dental radiographs, adhering to safety protocols.
- Document patient information and treatment plans in EMR systems, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a positive patient experience.
- Equipment maintenance, maintain dental supplies, write referrals as needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
