Job Summary
Join our dynamic construction team as a Construction Laborer! In this role, you will perform essential manual tasks, ensuring safety standards are met, and maintaining a clean and organized work site. Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation of construction sites by unloading materials, setting up scaffolding, and clearing debris.
- Support Foreman, Concrete Finishers, and Carpenters with their tasks as needed.
- Operate basic tools and equipment safely under supervision to aid in construction activities.
- Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a secure work environment for all team members.
- Perform site cleanup duties regularly to keep the work area organized and hazard-free.
- Help with loading and unloading materials and equipment throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct routine inspections of tools and equipment, reporting any issues immediately to Foreman and/or Mechanics.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and working in various weather conditions.
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
- Basic understanding of construction safety practices and procedures.
- Prior experience in construction or manual labor is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
- Reliable transportation to job sites is required.
- Good communication skills to follow instructions accurately and work effectively with team members.
Nice to have
- Ability to read plans
- Hydraulics license
- Prior experience with a walk behind slab saw
- Prior experience core drilling
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
