The HVAC Installation Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing all residential and/or commercial HVAC installation operations. This role manages installation teams, ensures projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and according to company quality standards. The HVAC Installation Manager serves as a key leader in driving technician performance, customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and revenue growth.

Recruit, train, develop, and mentor HVAC installation technicians and supervisors.

Manage workforce scheduling and staffing levels to meet installation demands.

Oversee the daily operations of HVAC installation projects from scheduling through completion.

Monitor project timelines, labor utilization, and installation quality.

Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including building codes and safety requirements.

Coordinate with sales, dispatch, warehouse, and service departments to ensure smooth project execution.

Resolve operational challenges and customer escalations promptly and professionally.

Conduct job-site inspections to verify installation quality and adherence to company standards.

Ensure all installations meet manufacturer specifications and warranty requirements.

Develop and implement best practices and process improvements to increase efficiency and consistency.

Monitor installation budgets, labor costs, and profitability.

Review project estimates and job costing to ensure financial objectives are met.

Manage inventory control and equipment utilization to reduce waste and maximize profitability.

Identify opportunities to improve operational performance and increase department revenue.

Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction throughout the installation process.

Address customer concerns and ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner.

Partner with the sales team to support a seamless customer experience from sale to installation completion.

Promote a strong safety culture and ensure adherence to OSHA regulations and company safety policies.

Conduct safety meetings and training sessions.Ensure technicians maintain required licenses, certifications, and training.

5+ years of HVAC installation experience.

2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience in HVAC or a related field.

Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, equipment, installation practices, and local building codes.

Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

Proficiency with scheduling software, job management systems, and Microsoft Office applications.

EPA Certification.

NATE Certification.
