Line cook position, evenings and weekends required.
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Ensure all food handling procedures comply with safety and sanitation regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations
- Support food presentation and plating to meet aesthetic standards
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and handling procedures
- Excellent knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques
- Experience with menu planning, fine dining, or catering is a plus
- Background in dietary department or dietary aide work is advantageous
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of the food industry standards for quality and presentation
- Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills
- Previous restaurant or culinary experience preferred but not required
