Get Paid to Hunt for Deals
We run a high-volume Amazon reselling operation, and we're hiring a Product Sourcer to be our eyes and hands in the field across San Antonio and the surrounding region.
Your job is simple to explain and fun to do if you're wired for it: drive to retail stores, scan products with our app, find items that are underpriced relative to what they sell for on Amazon, buy them, and get them back to our warehouse. Clearance aisles, endcaps, seasonal resets, and markdown carts are your hunting grounds.
This is not a desk job. You'll be in and out of 10–20 stores a day, on your feet, moving fast, making judgment calls. The people who thrive here treat it like a treasure hunt with a scoreboard.
What You'll Be Doing
- Visiting 10–20 retail stores per day across San Antonio and surrounding areas
- Stores include HEB, Walmart, Target, Dollar General, Home Depot, Lowe's, and similar retailers
- Scanning inventory using our sourcing app to identify profitable products
- Purchasing approved items using a company-provided payment method
- Photographing and logging finds, receipts, and quantities
- Loading purchases into your vehicle and delivering them to our warehouse
- Building relationships with store managers to get early access to markdowns and clearance
- Reporting daily on stores hit, units bought, and spend
- Occasional overnight sourcing trips to Houston and Dallas (expenses covered)
Compensation
Weeks 1–2 (Paid Training): $18.00/hour while we teach you our systems, scanning criteria, and buying rules.
After Training (Commission): You move to a per-unit commission structure based on the products you source. Sourcers performing at target typically earn the equivalent of $18–$27 per hour, with strong performers hitting $30+/hour during peak season (Q4 holiday, back-to-school, seasonal clearance resets).
Your earnings are directly tied to how many profitable units you find. There is no cap.

- Company payment method for all inventory purchases — you never spend your own money on product
- Daily Gas Stipend.
- Travel expenses covered for Houston/Dallas trips
This is a 1099 independent contractor position.
What You Need
- A reliable vehicle in good working condition — SUV, minivan, or truck strongly preferred. You will be hauling significant volume. A compact car will not work.
- Valid driver's license and current auto insurance
- Smartphone capable of running our sourcing app
- Willingness to drive extensively — this role is a lot of windshield time
- Willingness to travel occasionally to Houston and Dallas, including overnight
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the day
- Comfort walking retail floors for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail — condition, expiration dates, quantity limits, and packaging matter
- Self-motivated and able to run your own day without someone watching over your shoulder
- Honest and trustworthy — you will be handling company funds daily
