Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and Experienced Excavator Operator to join our dynamic construction team. In this vital role, you will operate excavators to execute excavation and site development tasks efficiently and safely. Your expertise will help ensure the successful completion of diverse construction projects while maintaining safety protocols and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Operate excavators with precision, utilizing advanced technology including GPS systems to ensure accurate digging and grading.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on machinery to guarantee optimal performance and safety standards.
- Follow detailed project plans and specifications to execute excavation tasks accurately while adhering to safety regulations.
- Maintain detailed records of equipment operation, maintenance activities, and project progress reports.
- Support other construction activities
- Loading Haul trucks
- Mass excavating/Stripping
Qualifications
- 2 years of proven experience operating excavators in a construction or heavy equipment environment and in mass excavating/stripping.
- Strong understanding of construction site safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
- Ability to read technical drawings and interpret project plans accurately.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
