Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to navigate routes efficiently.
Duties
- Operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks and vans, in a safe and responsible manner.
- Navigate designated routes effectively while adhering to traffic laws and company policies.
- Load and unload goods, utilizing equipment
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance.
- Communicate with managers regarding delivery status, route changes, or any issues encountered during transit.
- Provide excellent customer service by interacting positively with clients upon delivery.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred.
- Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
- Experience with route driving and navigating urban environments effectively.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties.
- A valid commercial driving license may be required depending on the vehicle type used.
Requirements:
- Active Driver’s License
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Must have full-time availability
- Speak English
Shift:
- Monday - Friday (during peak season it may change)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $200.00 - $220.00 per day
