Lakeside Home Cleaning is a new residential cleaning company launching in the Sherman area. We're built around a simple model: customers book and pay entirely online at lakesidehomecleaning.com — no cash, no invoicing, no card readers. You show up, clean the home to a high standard, and leave.
We're hiring experienced cleaners ahead of launch. This is a 1099 subcontracting role. You work under your own authority and set your own availability. We bring the customers, the scheduling, and the payment. You bring the skill and the work ethic.
Pay and schedule
- 50% of the total cleaning price on every job - Hourly Rate Listed simply ranges from how long it takes for a job to be done and the average cleaning amount.
- Weekly direct deposit — no invoicing, no chasing payment
- Choose the jobs and days that fit your schedule; no minimum hours
Responsibilities
- Perform full residential cleans — dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, and sanitizing across kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and living areas
- Handle laundry and linens where the job calls for it: sorting, washing, drying, folding
- Use cleaning equipment and detergents correctly and safely
- Move furniture and lift where the job requires it, using proper technique
- Clean floors, carpets, and outdoor areas as scoped, with the right method for each surface
- Follow the specific scope and special requests listed on each booking
- Communicate directly with a client on-site if something in the home needs attention beyond the original scope
- Manage your time on each job so it's done well and on schedule
Qualifications
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, custodial work, or housekeeping
- Strong knowledge of cleaning and sanitation procedures — floors, carpets, surface disinfection
- Comfortable with professional-grade cleaning equipment and supplies
- Physically able to lift and handle manual tasks safely
- Reliable transportation and your own cleaning supplies and equipment
- Strong communication skills — comfortable working independently in a client's home
- Outdoor cleaning experience is a plus
- Able to pass a background check
