American Traveler is hiring an experienced OR RN with a minimum of 3 years of experience, Epic proficiency, and Trauma Level II skills for a 13-week travel contract.

Work in the Operating Room of an acute care hospital setting
-
Ortho trauma, craniotomy, and trauma cases are core to this position at a Trauma Level II facility
-
Schedule is 4x12-hour shifts, available on both day (7:00–19:30) and night (19:00–7:30) shifts

On-call is required: 2 weeknights every 6 weeks, plus one weekend (Saturday and Sunday, 12-hour shifts, days or nights) every month and a half

Epic EMR experience is required

Active OR RN license required

Current BLS certification required; ACLS required; CNOR preferred

Minimum 3 years of OR RN experience required

Demonstrated experience with ortho trauma, craniotomy, and trauma cases required

Trauma Level II experience required

Epic EMR proficiency required

Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible; proof of address required

Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration

Pending license may be considered on a case-by-case basis

RTO is limited to a maximum of 7 total days during the 13-week assignment; all time-off requests must be submitted upfront
