Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS
- Upsell menu items, including wines, spirits, and specialty cocktails, to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
- Manage cash transactions accurately, including processing sales via POS systems and handling cash or credit payments
- Assist with food handling, food preparation support, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas
- Use reservation management platforms like OpenTable to coordinate guest seating and optimize table turnover
Skills
- Proven experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and other restaurant POS platforms
- Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktails, and food industry standards for fine dining environments
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and handle guest inquiries professionally
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy service hours
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance the guest experience and increase revenue
- Experience in food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
- Background in hospitality or restaurant service with culinary or kitchen experience preferred
