Duties
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of beverages including cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits with precision and flair.
- Engage with guests to recommend drinks, answer questions about menu items, and ensure an outstanding customer experience.
- Manage cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS while processing payments efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and sanitation protocols.
- Develop new beverage recipes and contribute to the ongoing innovation of our drink menu to excite guests.
- Monitor inventory levels of spirits, mixers, garnishes, and glassware; place orders as needed to ensure smooth operations.
- Collaborate with restaurant staff to coordinate service during busy hours and special events like banquets or catering functions.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a bartender with a strong background in mixology, cocktail crafting, and beverage presentation.
- Extensive knowledge of spirits, wine types, brewing processes, and beverage recipe development.
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; excellent cash handling skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during high-volume periods while maintaining quality service.
- Prior experience in fine dining establishments or hospitality settings preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional appearance.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and basic math for retail math calculations.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the restaurant schedule.
