Gossett Implant and Oral Surgery is seeking a full-time Treatment Coordinator / Receptionist to join our growing team. This position plays a vital role in ensuring an exceptional patient experience while supporting the financial success of the practice. The ideal candidate is experienced in dental or oral surgery treatment coordination, insurance verification, and patient financial arrangements. While the primary focus is treatment coordination, this team member will also provide receptionist coverage to ensure seamless office operations.
Primary Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient treatment from consultation through scheduling and completion.
- Present treatment plans and explain financial options with confidence.
- Verify dental insurance benefits and obtain necessary authorizations.
- Coordinate implant cases and assist patients in understanding recommended treatment.
- Prepare and submit insurance claims accurately and in a timely manner.
- Monitor unscheduled treatment, referrals, cancellations, and follow-up reports.
- Prepare consultation and surgery letters.
- Check patients out and collect payments.
- Complete end-of-day financial and administrative tasks.
- Collaborate with doctors, clinical staff, and referring offices to ensure continuity of patient care.
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in all patient records.
Receptionist Coverage
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office
- Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls.
- Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable.
- Work with referral offices to ensure continuity of patient care
- Perform other clerical receptionist duties.
- Use scheduling guidelines to ensure daily goals are met.

Qualifications
- Required: Minimum of one year of dental, medical or oral surgery treatment coordinating experience.
- Experience presenting treatment plans and discussing financial arrangements.
- Knowledge of dental insurance verification and claims processing.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment.
- Understanding of how treatment coordination impacts the practice's revenue cycle.
- Willingness to travel between all three office locations as needed.

Schedule: Full-time, 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday. No weekends.

Organizational Data: This is a non-exempt position, supervised by the Administrative Manager. This position does not supervise staff.
