Food Prep Worker
SmartTalent is hiring Food Prep Workers for a busy food production and retail environment in Lynnwood, WA. $18.50 - $19 per hour DOE
Schedule
Full-time
Various shifts available, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Job Duties
Prepare fresh ingredients including washing, cutting, slicing, peeling, and portioning fruits, vegetables, meats, and other food products.
Follow standardized recipes and preparation procedures.
Package, label, and stock prepared food items.
Maintain clean and organized workstations throughout the shift.
Operate kitchen equipment and food preparation tools safely.
Monitor product quality and freshness, removing items that do not meet quality standards.
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
Assist with inventory rotation using FIFO (First In, First Out) practices.
Restock supplies and ingredients as needed.
Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals.
Perform general cleaning duties and support other departments as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills
Previous food preparation, kitchen, grocery, deli, restaurant, or production experience preferred.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong commitment to food safety and sanitation practices.
Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
Basic English communication skills preferred.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Frequently lift up to 40 pounds.
Perform repetitive motions including bending, reaching, twisting, and grasping.
Comfortable working in refrigerated or temperature-controlled environments.
Ability to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
