FlexTrades is seeking experienced Structural Assemblers to support the assembly of aircraft cockpit structures in a precision aerospace manufacturing environment. This is new aircraft manufacturing, not repair or maintenance work. Aviation structural assembly experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities
- Assemble aircraft cockpit structures in a new-build, fixture-based aerospace environment
- Install structural components such as floors, seat tracks and panels
- Perform drilling, hole preparation, fastening, sealing and burnishing to aerospace standards
- Read and follow blueprints, work instructions and visual build guides
- Select proper tools and fasteners as needed
- Maintain tight-tolerance workmanship, quality standards and production pace on flight-critical hardware
- Work collaboratively in small team work cells
- Support inspections and quality requirements
- Complete required onsite training and testing, including sealant certification, rivet plate test and crane training as applicable
Qualifications
- Aerospace structural assembly experience required in new manufacturing
- Repair experience alone is not sufficient
- Hands-on experience with thin gauge aluminum required
- Proven experience performing tight-tolerance aerospace structural assembly
- Experience using tooling fixtures
- Ability to accurately locate and align parts
- Comfortable installing large quantities of fasteners with consistency and precision
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Pay and Benefits:
- Pay: $42/hour
- Guaranteed Overtime Each Week paid at time and a half
- Access to a full suite of benefits
- Travel Pay to and from the project
- Paid lodging (Single-Occupancy Hotel Room)
- Per diem ($45/day)
