Human Resource Coordinator
Reporting to the Human Resources Director, the Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for critical administrative duties, including tasks associated with onboarding, recruiting, offboarding, and HRIS entry. The pay range for this position is $20 to $23/hr based on experience.

Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.

Completes verification of employment requests and safety record requests.
- Submits online investigation requests and assists with new-employee background checks and motor vehicle record checks, files results appropriately in HRIS.
- Assists with processing of terminations.

Maintains company LMS which includes the weekly tailgate translation and release, tracking, and scheduling of various stand-downs, field trainings, etc.
- Researches and provides information for the coding of monthly invoices on background checks and drug screening.
- Schedules meetings and interviews as requested by the HR Generalist or HR Director.
- Makes photocopies; mails, scans and emails documents; and performs other clerical functions.

Files documents into appropriate employee files.

Assists or prepares correspondence as requested.

Processes mail.

Performs other duties as assigned.
- Bilingual English and Spanish strongly preferred.

1+ years of experience in Human Resources or DOT Compliance.

Experience working with Labor Unions strongly desired

Experience working in utility vegetation management and/or civil works preferred.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on computer software.

Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
