Critical Response Strategies is seeking an Operations Dispatcher / Safety Monitor to support active field teams through GPS monitoring, check-in tracking, safety escalation, and operational coordination. This role is responsible for tracking field personnel through tablet-based GPS data, managing mandatory check-in anchors, and initiating the 45-minute Missed Check-In Escalation Protocol when required.
This position is mission-critical to field safety and requires strong attention to detail, calm decision-making, and disciplined communication.

Key Responsibilities
- Monitor active field teams using background GPS tablet data and operational tracking systems.
- Track mandatory check-in anchors, including Arrival, Contact, and Departure.
- Ensure field personnel complete required safety and status check-ins.
- Identify missed, delayed, or incomplete check-ins and take immediate action according to protocol.
- Initiate the 45-minute Missed Check-In Escalation Protocol in the event of a missed check-in or potential emergency.
- Communicate with field workers, regional supervisors, program leadership, and emergency contacts as required.
- Maintain accurate logs of field activity, check-ins, escalations, safety concerns, and resolution steps.
- Monitor field routing, progress, active case status, and location-based activity.
- Support field personnel with operational questions, routing updates, and issue escalation.
- Report safety concerns, unusual activity, hostile conditions, or urgent field issues immediately.
- Coordinate with Regional Field Supervisors on delayed cases, access problems, and high-risk field conditions.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive operational and case information.
- Support daily operational reporting and shift handoff summaries.
Required Qualifications
- Bilingual skills required
- Experience in dispatch, operations coordination, emergency communications, field support, call center operations, logistics, security operations, or safety monitoring.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to monitor multiple field teams at once.
- Ability to remain calm and professional during safety concerns or escalation events.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable using GPS tracking tools, tablets, databases, spreadsheets, and communication platforms.
- Ability to follow escalation protocols exactly and document actions accurately.
- Ability to work assigned shifts, including extended hours or weekends if required.
- Ability to pass all required background checks and comply with contract-specific requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting emergency response, security, transportation, field services, public safety, or government contract operations.
- Familiarity with Knack or similar operational databases.
- Experience with safety check-in procedures or lone-worker monitoring.
Work Environment
This role is typically performed in an operations center, remote monitoring environment, or office setting. Work may require extended screen time, fast-paced communication, and strict adherence to safety protocols.
