American Traveler is hiring a Psych RN for a 3rd shift position at a pediatric/adolescent psychiatric facility, requiring NH or Compact RN license and pediatric psych experience.

Pediatric and adolescent psychiatric and residential treatment facility setting
-
3rd shift schedule only
-
Performs administration of medication and medical treatment for residents

Participates in comprehensive treatment planning with multi-disciplinary treatment team

Performs phlebotomy and blood draws on pediatric/adolescent patients
-
Active NH or Compact RN license required

Current BLS certification required

CPI certification required

Previous pediatric psychiatric nursing experience required

Phlebotomy experience required, including blood draws on pediatric/adolescent patients

Provides general and specialized nursing care under the direction of the Nurse Manager

Utilizes the nursing process and agency's Practice Model theories, beliefs, and principles in daily practice

Must reside outside a 75-mile radius of the facility to be considered
