Job Summary
We are seeking reliable and motivated Drivers (Independent Contractor) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials efficiently and safely while providing exceptional customer service. As an independent contractor, you will have the flexibility to manage your own schedule while ensuring timely deliveries. MUST HAVE A SPRINTER VAN OR CARGO EXTENDED VAN
SCHILLER PARK - HELLO FRESH Opportunity Overview: This is a prepped meal delivery route operating out of Schiller Park, IL. Drivers will be responsible for picking up and delivering meal boxes to designated locations within the assigned route. Routes are structured for efficiency and consistency, making this a strong opportunity for reliable weekly earnings.
What the Driver Will Do: Arrive at the Schiller Park location and check in Prepped meal boxes will be ready for pickup Scan all packages, load the van, and organize the route Deliver to assigned stops based on routing provided At each stop: drop off, take a photo, upload confirmation, and continue Once the route is complete, drivers can go straight home (no need to return to the warehouse) Our dispatch team will also do their best to route drivers closer to their home toward the end of the day whenever possible.
Schedule & Requirements: Start Time: 7:30 AM (drivers must arrive by 7:15 AM for check-in) Location: Schiller Park, IL (HelloFresh facility) Days Needed: Sunday through Friday (full-time availability required) Sunday, Monday, Tuesday: heavier volume days Wednesday, Thursday, Friday: lighter volume days (depending ) Guaranteed work on scheduled days Note: If a driver is not available for the full schedule, we can still review availability, but priority will be given to those who can cover all required days.
Compensation (Based on Box Count):
40-49 : $135
50-59 : $16570-79 : $230
80-89 : $265
90-99 : $300
110-119 boxes: $365
120+ boxes: $400 Routes and box counts may vary slightly day-to-day, but this structure provides a clear earning scale based on volume .Payment: Paid weekly via direct deposit every Friday First week worked is paid the following Friday After the first pay cycle, drivers are paid weekly every Friday
Duties
- Operate a SPRINTER VAN OR CARGO EXTENDED VAN
- Pickup at local store location, freight will be assigned to you.
- Must use customer's app and having a working smart phone.
- You must scan freight in that's assigned to you, load your own vehicle, unload goods at the correct location.
- Ensure proper handling to prevent damage, complete service with a proof of delivery photo.
- Navigate assigned routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service during interactions with clients and recipients.
- Products may weigh 50 lbs or less
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, communicate with dispatcher any issues or discrepancies that has encountered while onsite.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in route driving is PREFERRED.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
- Familiarity with warehouse/retail operations is a plus.
- Experience with lifting and moving items safely.
- MVR and Background checks will occur

- We are looking for full-time drivers (5 days a week). The days we will need drivers to work are Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. If you are only available on certain days we can accommodate that for our fill in days as needed. Does this work for you?
