Construction Foreman

Shaw Brothers Construction, Inc., one of Southern Maine's leading earthwork and paving contractors, is seeking an experienced Construction Foreman to join our growing team. We are looking for a motivated leader who can safely manage crews, coordinate daily operations, and deliver high-quality work on excavation, utility, and site development.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead construction crews on job sites.
- Coordinate daily work activities to ensure projects stay on schedule.
- Read and interpret plans, specifications, and grade stakes.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, subcontractors, and inspectors.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company policies and OSHA regulations.
- Monitor productivity, quality, and equipment utilization.
- Train and mentor.
- Maintain accurate daily reports and documentation.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of construction experience, with supervisory or foreman experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of earthwork, utilities, grading, and site development.
- Ability to read blueprints and construction plans.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
