The Architectural Marketing & Business Development Coordinator will work with the firm’s principals to execute the firm’s marketing and business development strategies. Responsibilities include maintaining the firm’s brand standards, coordinating marketing initiatives, managing proposal/RFP submissions, and helping project teams assemble firm-branded materials for new project opportunities. The role will focus on strengthening current partnerships while building new strategic opportunities in priority sectors.
Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in marketing/communications with a minimum of 2 years in marketing, preferably in the A/E/C industry. Applicants must be proficient in Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, Excel, etc.) and Adobe Creative Suite (i.e., InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) to create graphic marketing packages.
- Coordinate marketing initiatives and support firm branding across campaigns and day-to-day deliverables.
- Maintain sector collateral, including firm paradigm statements, sector-specific project sheets, case studies, and team resumes/bios.
- Update content on our website and social media platforms.
- Manage proposal/RFP workflows—from intake and internal kickoff through production timelines, compliance checks, and submission readiness.
- Support pursuit materials with a focus on client-ready messaging and alignment to firm branding.
- Maintain a library of reusable proposal assets (templates, project fact sheets, and other bid-ready materials).
- Support lead generation for market-rate housing, affordable housing, historic preservation, and development opportunities.
- Build and maintain a strategic contact list with the principals (developers, owners, housing partners, GCs, and other key stakeholders).
- Track follow-ups and next steps after meetings by organizing notes and keeping opportunity details clear.
- Coordinate with project teams to gather needed project information (summaries, roles, costs, and key details) and coordinate image collection for marketing use.
The job is based in our Columbus, Ohio office with a hybrid work schedule offered. Flexible hours are available based on attending industry-sponsored events and the occasional extra hours required for submission deadlines. Regional and national travel may be required based on project location and covered under our firm’s travel policy (available upon request).
Salary and accrued paid time off will be commensurate with relevant experience. Benefits include 401(k) with company match and health insurance after the first 30 days. Additional add-on options include dental, vision, short/long term disability, and life insurance.
