We are looking for a highly motivated individual who is interested in learning about the art and science of smell while gaining hands-on industry laboratory experience. As a Scentware Laboratory Assistant, you will work closely with the Scentware R&D Team to support product development initiatives through research, testing, data collection, and writing technical documentation.

Responsibilities
- Assist with project setup, including experimental planning and preparation of laboratory materials.
- Execute laboratory testing according to protocols and accurately document results.
- Collect, organize, and analyze experimental and sensory data to support product development decisions.
- Assist in preparing technical reports, presentations, and other project documentation.
- Conduct sensory evaluations of scent cartridges, including fragrance and performance assessments.
- Develop proficiency in identifying and differentiating fragrances to support sensory testing and quality evaluations.
- Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and calibrate laboratory equipment as needed.
- Maintain laboratory organization, cleanliness, inventory, and supplies.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and laboratory safety requirements.

Qualifications
- Interest in the art and science of smell
- B.S. or B.A. in biology, chemistry, neuroscience, food science, or related field OR 2-4 years of experience in a laboratory or manufacturing setting
- Able to work onsite at Burlington, Vermont location
Compensation
- Salary: $50,000 - $58,000
