NOW HIRING – EXPERIENCED TRI-AXLE DUMP TRUCK DRIVER / TAG TRAILER OPERATOR

G.D. McCarthy Site & Utility is looking for an experienced Class A CDL driver to join our team.
We are looking for someone with real construction trucking and equipment-hauling experience. The right candidate should be comfortable operating a tri-axle dump truck, working around active construction sites, and loading, securing, and hauling construction equipment on tag trailers.
This is a full-time, year-round position averaging 40–45 hours per week with no weekend work, steady local jobs, and a real opportunity to grow and advance within our company.

Position Responsibilities
- Operate a newer tri-axle dump truck with automatic transmission
- Haul gravel, stone, asphalt, loam, demolition material, and other materials
- Load, secure, and haul equipment using 20-ton and 25-ton tag trailers
- Move excavators, skid steers, rollers, and other construction equipment
- Safely maneuver trucks and trailers on active construction sites
- Work alongside the crew when needed
- Keep trucks, trailers, and equipment clean and well maintained
- Perform basic inspections and minor maintenance
- Be part of a team that takes pride in doing quality work
Experience We Are Looking For
- Class A CDL required
- Experienced driver strongly preferred
- Experience operating tri-axle dump trucks
- Experience loading, securing, and hauling heavy construction equipment
- Experience operating tag trailers
- Experience working around excavation, site work, paving, or utility construction
- Good knowledge of load securement and equipment placement
- Clean driving record
- Strong awareness and good judgment around equipment and job sites
- Dependable and able to show up on time every day
- Basic truck and equipment maintenance knowledge
- Advanced truck or heavy-equipment repair experience is a major plus
- Hoisting license is a plus
- Knowledge of Needham, Wellesley, and the MetroWest/Boston area is a plus
This is not an entry-level driving position. We are looking for someone who already has experience and can safely handle trucks, trailers, and construction equipment.

- $38–$42 per hour, based on experience and ability
