Variety Child Learning Center (VCLC) operates a childcare center at two of its Levittown locations for young children 6 weeks to 5 years of age. The candidate considered for this role will support ages 3-5 years old for some of their school day and transition with them to aftercare.
As a Teacher Aide supporting Child Care your Job responsibilities include: care, supervise and engage in activities with the children in and out of the classroom; communicate with children and model language and social skills, meet children’s needs including feeding, diapering and toileting, assist the Lead Teacher with room prep and clean-up.
Hiring Schedules:
1. Monday-Friday 11:00 am-4:30 pm
2. Monday-Friday 11:30 am-3:30 pm
*Flexibility surrounding the hours is required.
At Variety Child Learning Center (VCLC), the childcare role is a physically demanding role. The employee is required to be non-sedentary. Must be able to stand; run, walk; sit; bend, climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel and crouch. You will be required to maintain an annual medical clearance, complete the required number of training hours annually as specified in the VCLC Staff Development Policies, and must be a mandated reporter.

Pay: $17.50 - $21.00 per hour
